What this site collects about visitors, and what it does with public posts.

Visitors
- No accounts, no forms, no advertising trackers. The site sets no cookies of its own.
- Traffic measurement. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts page views without cookies and without building visitor profiles.
- Hosting. The site is served by Cloudflare, which processes your IP address and request details to deliver pages and keep the service secure, as any host does.
- Tool icons. The small icons beside tool names are loaded from Google's favicon service, so your browser makes a request to Google when a page with icons loads.
- Email. If you write to us we keep the correspondence for as long as it takes to handle your request and to keep a record of corrections.
Public posts
The Index is built from public posts on X that mention a dictation tool. For each post we process the text, the author's handle, the date and the link, in order to label the post and count it toward an aggregate score. Scores are published only as totals.
A few posts are quoted on tool pages as examples, with the author's handle and a link to the original. If you are the author and want a quote removed, see removing a quoted post. You can also ask what we hold about your posts, or ask us to delete it, by writing to [email protected].
