# Corrections, replies and removals How to fix a fact, answer a score as a vendor, or take down a quoted post. Updated September 21, 2026 ## Fix a fact Registry facts (platforms, pricing, processing, features) are taken from each tool's own site, with the date they were last checked shown on the tool page. If one is wrong or out of date, email [corrections@dictationindex.com](mailto:corrections@dictationindex.com) with the tool, the fact and a link that shows the right value. We correct it and note the change. ## Add a tool Listing is free and automatic for anything that meets the [definition of a dictation tool](https://dictationindex.com/method). Send the name and the official site. Nobody can pay to be listed, ranked higher, badged or mentioned. ## Reply as a vendor If you represent a listed tool you can send a short reply of up to 120 words. It is published on your tool page, labelled as the vendor's reply, unedited except for length. A reply does not change a score. ## Dispute a score Scores are never edited by hand. If you think posts were mislabelled or a filter was misapplied, send examples with links. If checking them changes a number, the corrected score is published. That applies to every tool's score equally. ## Remove a quoted post Tool pages quote a few public posts as examples, with the author's handle and a link to the original. If one of them is yours and you want it gone, email [corrections@dictationindex.com](mailto:corrections@dictationindex.com) with the link. We take the quote down and do not ask for a reason. ## What to expect We aim to reply within five business days.
